GAMES-TECH TO PRESENT BEST START UP AT THE TIGA GAMES INDUSTRY AWARDS

TIGA, the network for games developers and digital publishers and the trade association representing the video games industry, has today announced that GameS-Tech (the new Insurance Solution for the Games Industry) will present Best Start Up at the 5th TIGA Games Industry Awards.

The sold out TIGA Games Industry Award ceremony will take place on10th November 2016 at the spectacular Christ Church Spitalifields, a restored Hawksmooor Baroque church situated in the heart of London’s vibrant East End. Whilst dinner tickets have sold out some balcony (standing) tickets remain and are on sale now at www.tiga.org/awards/ceremony

The award will be presented by Account Executive Kate Rhodes from S-Tech Insurance who has created and launched GameS-Tech (www.GameS-Tech.co.uk). Launching on 07 November, GameS-Tech aims to offer a cost effective, innovative insurance solutions for a range of companies and individuals working within the games industry including developers, publishers, art houses and quality assurance & localisation services. GameS-Tech has been created in conjunction with TIGA. 

Shortlisted for the closely contested  Best Start Up award are games developers:

  • Ghost Town Games
  • Project M Studio

TIGA CEO Dr. Richard Wilson said:
