TIGA, the trade association representing theUK games industry, today announced Cuba Entertainment Ltd as its newest member.

Cuba Entertainment has a hugely successful
track record of delivering highly effective and cost efficient business
development solutions for both the publishing and development communities.

The company was founded in 2009 by Dave Clark
and Chris Mehers who, between them, have over 30 years of experience in the
video games industry. Dave’s career
spans some 16 years and has included time spent at Eidos as VP New Business
Development (San Francisco) and European Marketing Director (London) plus roles

license rights on behalf of developers (including Lightning Fish and Double
Six) for some of the world’s largest lPs including ‘Who Wants to be a
Millionaire?’, one of the world’s largest sporting brands (deal yet to be
announced) and two of the world’s biggest TV and movie franchises (again, deal
to be announced). In addition, they have
implemented physical distribution (Slitherine Ltd) and digital distribution
(Green Man Gaming) solutions as well as helping companies secure funding for
their projects.

Dave Clark, explains the reasons Cuba
Entertainment joined TIGA:

“There were two key
drivers behind Cuba’s decision to join TIGA.
As a trade body, TIGA has consistently proved itself as the voice of the
UK games industry. At the same time,
TIGA offers the support and network that companies like Cuba need to thrive and
grow””.

Richard Wilson, TIGA CEO, stated:

“TIGA is a community
of diverse and talented organisations from across the UK and we are thrilled to
welcome Cuba Entertainment to our membership.
The quality and number or our members, alongside TIGA’s knowledge and
understanding of the games industry, ensures our voice is heard in the media
and in political circles. We will
continue to fight for the interests of our members and to make the UK the best
place in the world to do games business. “”
